General Seminar Information

We believe in constant development, and part of that process includes bringing in some of the most skilled practitioners in the world to share their techniques. We produce eight to 10 seminars each year and put a lot of careful thought into whose skills and presence can do the most for the PNW jiujitsu community.

Bellingham BJJ works to bring in world champions in both gi and nogi, ADCC medalists, Polaris champions, noted technicians and innovators, and legends of the sport including Robson Moura, Jeff Glover, Dominyka Obelenyte, Dave Camarillo, Felicia Oh, Miha Perhavec, Seph Smith and Cody Maltais, among many others.

All proceeds for BBJJ seminars go directly to the visiting instructors’ fees and travel costs, and we are committed to pay equity for male and female instructors. Although BBJJ does not make a financial profit from our seminars, we commit time, labor and our space to to running these events because we think the intangible and educational benefits are powerful for our our academy and our community.

Most seminars and workshops at Bellingham BJJ are open-rank, and we specifically invite instructors who have something valuable to share to students at every level. If you have questions about whether a seminar is appropriate for your current skills, please check in with jeff at bellingham bjj dot com.

You can find upcoming seminars on our website and by following Bellingham BJJ on Facebook and Instagram.
